Getting a price you can trust
The calculators need one number from you: the supplier's rate. Two tips for getting a comparable one:
- Ask for the delivered price. Material-only rates look cheaper until delivery, fuel, and minimum-load fees are added. A delivered per-ton figure makes quotes comparable.
- Match the unit to the material. Quarries usually sell crushed stone by the ton; landscape yards often sell decorative gravel by the yard or bucket. Enter whichever you were quoted — the tools handle both.
